Bio-economy Empowerment in Suriname’s Indigenous Communities through Access to Water, Energy and Telecommunications (Bio-Sweet)
The Republic of Suriname has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB),
and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the project Design, Supply and Installation Services of Plant for Solar PV-BESS mini-grids and water infrastructure for the Bio-Sweet Program (including construction of distribution grid).
The N.V. Energiebedrijven Suriname now invites submission from applicants to prequalify for the Procurement for Design, Supply and Installation Services of Plant for Solar PV-BESS mini-grids and water infrastructure for the Bio-Sweet Program (including construction of distribution grids).
The duration of the works is estimated at a period of 30 months for Lot 1 and 24 months for Lot 2.

Consulting Firm for the Development and Implementation of a Revenue Registration System (Rrs) in Support of the Implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (Eiti)
The Republic of Suriname has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Suriname Competitiveness and Sector Diversification Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The Delfstoffen Autoriteit Suriname (DAS) is designed to become a new public legal entity set up
to regulate, coordinate, and monitor mining activities in Suriname, with strong emphasis on
environment, health, safety, and transparent resource governance. To operationalize DAS effectively, a structured onboarding process is needed for staff transferring from GMD, BIS, and other entities, as well as newly recruited personnel, so that they quickly understand DAS’ mandate, governance, processes, and culture.
The objective of this assignment is to recruit a onboarding specialist consulting firm who will
design, pilot, and institutionalize a complete onboarding process (policies, tools, materials, and
workflows) tailored to DAS’ legal mandate, organizational structure, and operational priorities.

Development and Implementation of a Revenue Registration System (RRS)
The Republic of Suriname has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Suriname Competitiveness and Sector Diversification Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
Suriname is implementing the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) to strengthen
transparency, accountability, and good governance in the extractive sector.
A core requirement of EITI implementation is the systematic and reliable collection of revenue data from reporting entities, including state-owned enterprises, private extractive companies, and relevant government
agencies.
Urban Development And Housing
Fiscal Support Program to Regain Growth
Suriname has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Paramaribo Urban Rehabilitation Program (PURP) II and intends to apply part of the funds to contracts for consulting services.
The MINISTRY OF EDUCATION SCIENCE AND CULTURE invites eligible Consulting Firms to
express their interest in providing the requested Services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include:
1. To conduct socio-environmental studies such as Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
(ESIA) and Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Plan (ESMP).
2. Conduct a technical assessment of the Jodenbreestraat public space corridor.
3. To develop integrated street and public space designs for the Jodenbreestraat corridor within
the Paramaribo World Heritage Site.

Suriname has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to
partially finance the cost of the Water Supply Modernization Program and intends to apply
part of the proceeds to payments under the Contract detailed in this Request for Bids.
The Surinaamsche Waterleiding Maatschapij invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for Purchase of pipes, fittings and accessories for PVC Ø315 mm raw water line and PVC Ø400 mm transmission main.
The Request for Bids (RFB) will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding
process as specified in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Procurement Policies for
the Procurement of Goods and Works (applicable edition according to the Loan Contract)
and is open to all bidders from eligible countries, as defined in the Bidding Documents.

Climate Smart Agriculture Expert
The UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (UNDP), has announced a new tender for Climate Smart Agriculture Expert.
The Climate Smart Agriculture expert will serve as the national lead and support the International Project Development Specialist and the team to develop the project rationale and interventions. The consultant will provide technical assistance to develop the project rationale and interventions, including through baselines assessments. The consultant will also be responsible for the preparation of a detailed climate change profile (including drought and salinity intrusion) for the district of Coronie), Landscape-hydrological profile, livelihoods profile, and potential climate smart agriculture (CSA) technologies to be incorporated into the prodoc. The consultant liaise with national counterparts, and national experts to collate data and inputs. The consultation will assist the international and national consultants in the timely implementation of the PPG process
